The traditional tree cutting is always fun.  However, the last few years I have not had a large tree.  Just several small ones. 

A year and half ago, I had the exciting opportunity to move to Discovery Bay, a dream of mine for over ten years. 

Discovery Bay is a small boating community located on the Delta.  The DELTA offers FUN & UNIQUE holiday traditions.

First is the Parade of Lights with Santa Claus & floats for the “Land Lovers.” 

What better way to kick off the Holiday Season!

The community also has a Lighted Boat Parade for the “Crazy Boaters.”  Sat. Dec. 10th.  Sponsored by the Discovery Bay Yacht Club.

My ALL time FAVORTIE is the Frozen Bun Run!!!  AKA Polar Bear Run, Ice Breakers…This event is held New Years Day at the Rusty Port Hole in Bethel Island.  Bring your water ski or wake board & join in the Frozen FUN!
